REIKI

Reiki therapy is a form of alternative healing that originated in Japan. It involves the practitioner channeling and transferring universal life force energy, often referred to as "ki" or "qi," through their hands to the recipient. The word "Reiki" is a combination of two Japanese words: "rei," meaning universal or spiritual, and "ki," meaning life force energy.

During a Reiki session, the client lies down fully clothed, and the practitioner places their hands on or just above specific areas of the body, known as energy centers or chakras. The intention is to clear blockages and balance the flow of energy within the body, promoting relaxation, self-healing, and overall well-being.

The benefits of Reiki therapy are believed to be multi-faceted. Firstly, it induces deep relaxation and reduces stress and anxiety, which can have positive effects on mental and emotional health. Many people report feeling a sense of peace and calm during and after Reiki sessions.

Secondly, Reiki supports physical healing by stimulating the body's natural healing processes. It may help alleviate pain, accelerate recovery from injuries or illnesses, and boost the immune system.

Moreover, Reiki can promote a sense of spiritual connection and self-awareness. It is often seen as a practice that not only addresses physical and emotional aspects but also supports personal growth and inner transformation.

Reiki therapy is non-invasive and gentle. It can be used in conjunction with other conventional or alternative therapies, enhancing their effects and promoting holistic healing.
